A blog for a Venice Beach-based film producer living the ups and downs of the movie biz and the never ending impact it seems to make on his personal life (or is that just an excuse)?

How in the world did everyone forget Jim Sheridan?

I didn't forget about Jim Sheridan. He is a good choice. He brings out the best in Daniel Day Lewis. It is very hard to include him in a top 10 list for directors ,however. There are others who are just as interesting choices as Sheridan such as Brian De Palma, John Lassiter, Spike Lee, and my peronsal favorite Robert Zemeckis. So the talent pool, despite what excluding the current big 3, is still very very good in my opinion.
